Highlights

  • Isak is a results-oriented Business Developer with international experience across Sweden, Spain, and the broader Nordic and Baltic region.
  • He specializes in franchise network expansion, partner recruitment, and market development — combining analytical rigour with relationship-driven outreach to identify and qualify high-potential investors across new markets.

With a background spanning construction engineering, renewable energy, and service in the Swedish Armed Forces, Isak brings a distinctive, cross-sector perspective to franchise development. His career has spanned roles at companies including Solaritet and Energihem, before transitioning into international business development, where he applies operational discipline and strategic thinking to complex, multi-market expansion challenges.

His professional foundation is built on identifying and engaging master franchise candidates, structuring BD pipelines, and translating market intelligence into actionable growth strategies. He is experienced in multi-channel prospecting — including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, broker and M&A intermediary networks, and direct outreach in Swedish, English, Norwegian and Danish — and in building the commercial frameworks needed to move candidates from first contact to partnership.

He integrates AI tools and workflow automation into his BD practice, using them to sharpen prospecting, streamline candidate qualification, and improve the quality and speed of market research. This positions him at the intersection of traditional relationship-based development and modern, data-informed sales methodology.

Currently, Isak contributes to Mail Boxes Etc. (MBE), a global franchise network operating in shipping, logistics, printing, and e-commerce fulfillment through 1,700+ service centers in over 46 countries. MBE specializes in international parcel delivery, micrologistics and fulfillment, professional packaging, customs clearance, graphic design, and business support services, where clear communication, exceptional customer experience, and strong operational foundations are key to supporting the network’s growth and competitiveness.

In his role on the Worldwide Development team, Isak drives MBE’s international expansion by identifying and qualifying master franchise candidates across Europe; primarily the Nordic and Baltic markets — Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. He manages the full prospecting and outreach cycle, conducts candidate discovery conversations, builds BD strategy, and collaborates closely with internal teams to position MBE competitively in each market. He also contributes to translating and localizing recruitment materials for Scandinavian audiences, and develops internal tools and AI-powered workflows to support team efficiency.

Isak brings a genuinely Nordic perspective to his work — as a Swede operating across Scandinavian and Baltic territories, he understands the cultural, regulatory, and business dynamics that shape franchise investment decisions in these markets. His multilingual capability and international lifestyle in Barcelona add a further layer of cross-cultural fluency that strengthens his ability to engage diverse investor profiles.

He is known for structured, high-output work — building prospecting systems, candidate frameworks, and market analyses that create scalable foundations for network growth. His approach combines strategic market thinking with practical, hands-on execution across outreach, qualification, and partner development.

Originally from Sweden, Isak grew up with a strong interest in construction, strategy, and physical discipline — interests that carried him through an engineering education, military service, and eventually into the commercial world. Outside work, he trains regularly in boxing and the gym, plays chess, and follows Hammarby IF.
Now based in Barcelona, he enjoys the city’s energy while staying deeply connected to the Nordic markets he works across every day.
